CONSTRUCTIONS

This home was designed in-house by Aztek Constructions to take advantage of the beautiful north-eastern vista and capitalise on solar passive design. The 135-degree angle of the house gives a unique aesthetic to the exterior architecture of the home. The skillion roof reaches for the sky allowing for remotely controlled clerestory windows that aid in the natural airflow through the home. The two colours of barestone accentuate the angles of the exterior. The generous eaves along the northern aspect shade the glass in Summer and allow the northern light to warm the floors in winter. The main bathroom spans the vertex of the home and the shower takes advantage of the unique shape created.
